raingsey, my official khmer tutor

please meet my official khmer tutor, raingsey. she's 26, about 5'3'' or an inch taller at most. raingsey and her family comes from kandal province. she graduated with an associate degree from the university of cambodia. with enough money, she hopes to further her education and strengthen her english skills to one day work with an ngo.

today, after much evaluation to the other two prospectives, i chosed her. the other two were equally competent in teaching me, but raingsey is more financially unstable than the others. yes, i will be paying her. pretty decent i might add; considering we have agreed to only 5 hrs a week. the area i stressed most for which i challenge her is to improve my khmer grammar. we start tomorrow, 9 am sharp.

ps: if i get her permission, i'll snap a picture of her for everyone to see!

2 - hmmm $5 aweek? um how many days a week?

because normal teachers get paid $30-35 a month hehehe
